From a young age, Jonna has been involved in fitness in one way or another and loves how it helps keep the body and mind aligned.

She has also always had a passion for helping people feel good, whether it’s paying it forward or, volunteering and most recently, with teaching yoga.  She stepped onto her mat for the very first time during a hot power yoga class in July 2016.  She had no idea what to expect but left class on cloud nine and was blown away by how amazing she felt, and hasn’t looked back since.

Jonna’s background is in the financial industry, and yoga made her feel connected on a physical, mental and emotional level. It helped relieve stress, clear her mind, and to stay focused and grounded. Each time she stepped on her mat it greatly helped to create the balance she needed from working in the corporate world

With gratitude in her heart and clarity in her mind, she decided to enroll in the Open Doors 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017.

She completed her RYT certification in 2018 and immediately went on to receive her 30-hour children’s teaching certificate with Radiant Child, her Connected Warriors Trauma-Conscious Yoga certificate, and most recently completed her 95-hour Children’s, Teens, and Trauma Informed teacher training with YogaEd.

Through the use of yoga, breath work and meditation, Jonna hopes to empower and help children, teens and adults gain the tools they can use to help them feel good about themselves internally and externally. Jonna offers children, teen and adult classes, workshops, private and corporate yoga programs.

Jonna lives in Quincy and is the mom to a 13-year-old son who is the light of her life!
