The Buzz on the Bee

Why the Bee? Ancient Druids and legends saw the bee as symbolizing the sun, Goddesses, celebration and community. The bee is also the ancient symbol of good fortune, joy and harmony. The color yellow symbolizes the sun and energy. We are reminded by the bee to slow down, to smell the flowers and taste the sweet nectar of life.

In the dream world, Bee comes to you as a gift from Spirit. She/he buzzes about in order to awaken us into the moment. Alert and aware, we see that life is sweet and filled with brightness, color and light.

Bees also hold the power of service. The bee has an important role in life as the pollinator of plants, which represents the interconnectedness of all living things. They possess a drive to contribute to the common good of the community. The bumblebee is a messenger bringing the secrets of life and service.

When we dream of bees, it may be an indication that we are ready to communicate our spiritual gifts or perhaps we should more clearly recognize the treasures that reside within us.
